Rising in the rugged mountains of the Kaweka and Kaimanawa ranges, four main river systems tumble their way to the distant Pacific Ocean. With their many tributaries and associated spring creeks, the region offers over 30 world class fly fishing options.
Spend an exhilarating day on a high country river, gentle pastoral stream, or meandering spring creek pursuing trophy sized brown and rainbow trout.
Our fly fishing safaris are personally hosted by one of our team of local guides, all of whom are members of the New Zealand Professional Fishing Guides Association.
There are options to fish a variety of waters depending on your experience and preference. You will be fishing to sighted trout using nymph, dry fly or streamer.
Fishing licenses and a helicopter option for wilderness fishing can be arranged, although additional charges apply.
